This will probably be in late October, the image which most frequently comes to my mind is of coming over Bodmin Moor into a stiff northeast wind. Finding accommodation each night that can offer a good stable and, for me, a hot bath and a large mug of tea, seems a serious priority. I expect to follow the BHS Cornwall route from Lands End to Horsebridge on the Devon border. From there I will head towards Minehead, possibly via Okehampton where Reddaway's all came from. I have a lot of crawling over a map covered floor to do for this route. When I get to Wells and the Mendips I have good friends to visit. This is home territory for The Trails Trust – the Charity that creates access to the countryside for all – on foot, bicycle or by horse.
Next section: Wells to Bristol.
